1:56 Char B1 Bis
510025766€21.99
Article number: 510025766 Product: 1:56 Char B1 Bis The "Char de Bataille" B1 was the main battle tank used by the French army during the Second World War. The original design was conceived in the mid-1920s (many technical solutions adopted, such as the large exposed tracks, are indeed typical of that period), but it began to be deployed to units only in the mid-1930s. Sturdy and massive, it was improved in its "bis" version to enhance performance and operational capability. It was armed with a 47mm turret cannon and a 75mm howitzer installed in a casemate at the front of the tank. Although it was generally a good tank for the period, the Char B1 bis was employed to support infantry divisions rather than in autonomous armored groups that would have provided greater operational flexibility against German Panzer divisions during the 1940 Campaign in France. 1:56 Italians Tanks & Semoventi
510025768€21.99
Article number: 510025768 Product: 1:56 Italienische Panzer & Semoventi The production of Italian tanks during the Second World War focused on the "M" series. The M-13/40 was the most famous and widely used tank of the Royal Army. Equipped with a 47mm cannon, it was notable for its unique track and suspension structure and for the protective "bolted" armor. On its chassis, the self-propelled gun M-40 was also developed. Armed with a 75mm howitzer mounted in a casemate, it was greatly feared by enemy armored vehicles. The best results were achieved through the combined use of M-13/40 tanks accompanied by self-propelled guns, which compensated for the tank's limited firepower. Throughout the war, both tanks and self-propelled guns saw improvements in technical solutions and armament. Detailed plastic kit Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Article number: 510025759 Product: 1:56 M8/M20 Greyhound At the beginning of World War II, the U.S. Army had lightweight and lightly armed vehicles, called "scout cars," for advanced reconnaissance activities. Developed during the war, the M-8 Greyhound armored car, characterized by increased protection and heavier armament, represented a turning point for the American army. The vehicle provided greater operational flexibility and could be more effectively used to support ground troops thanks to the 37mm cannon installed in the turret. First used on the Italian front, from Monte Cassino to Anzio, it later participated in the D-Day operations in June 1944. Although the terrain in Normandy proved challenging and demanding during the initial phases of the operation, later on the M-8 was particularly appreciated for its speed of movement and versatility in deployment. 1:56 Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I Ausf. E
510025755€21.99
The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of World War II. It was developed to provide the armored divisions of the Wehrmacht with a heavily armored and heavily armed tank to complement the more common medium tanks, Panzer III and Panzer IV, which were no longer effectively countering enemy tanks. Its primary armament consisted of the renowned and lethal long-barreled 88mm KwK 36 L/56 anti-tank gun. Installed in the turret and protected by a heavy 120mm shielding, it could penetrate the armor of any contemporary enemy vehicle even at long distances. Deployed on all major theatres of operation, it played an active role in German military operations in Normandy and the Western Front. Despite facing issues of reliability and deployment, the heavy tank, when operated by skilled crews, was always greatly feared by the Allied forces. Detailed Plastic Kit Warning! 510006199€74.99
Within the overall strategic planning of the acclaimed operation "Overlord", the code name for the Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy, the French village of Sainte-Mère-Église played a key role. On battle plan maps it was rightly identified as an important road junction that the defending Germans could have used to carry out rapid counter attacks directed towards the Utah and Omaha beacheads. It was therefore strategically imortant to attack and quickly occupy the village with American airborne troops to support the landings. In the early hours of June 6, 1944, paratroopers of the famous 82nd and 101st US Airborne Divisions secured the small French town following a period of intense fighting. The contribution made by the American paratroops has been widely recognised and celebrated in numerous movies from "The Longest Day" made in the 1960s, to the most recent "warmovies". 510001296€17.99
The model F-104 G Recce in 1/72 scale has a length of about 231 mm. Decals for 3 versions. The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is one of the most famous fighters in the history of aviation and also one with the longest operational life: its history began at the end of the 50s and ended, for some air forces, in mid 2000s. Its unique airframe, with slender fuselage and very little wing surface, made this aircraft ideal as an interceptor. Thanks to the thrust of its General Electric J79-GE-11A afterburning turbojet engine, it could exceed Mach 2,2 with an excellent rate of climb. But it wasn't very maneuverable and difficult to pilot. The F-104G Starfighter was produced on license by several European aviation industries. From the mid 60s, it became the standard interceptor for many NATO countries including Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece, and Turkey. The armament was basically the same found on previous versions, with a 20mm Vulcan cannon and the option to fit under the wings air-to-air missiles, bombs, or additional fuel tanks to increase the airplane's range. With time, reconnaissance duties were added to the traditional interceptor service. The F-104G was therefore fitted with a dedicated "Orpheus" reconnaissance external pod that gave excellent operational results.

510001456€24.99
Article number: 510001456 Product: 1:72 F-8E Crusader The Vought F-8 Crusader was the first carrier-based fighter designed in the 1950s that attained supersonic flight capability. Due to its Pratt & Whitney turbojet engine with afterburner, it was able to exceed the then maximum speed of Mach 1.8. It entered service in the late 1950s with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps fighter squadrons to replace the obsolete Vought F7U Cutlass. The F-8E had good operational longevity and was deployed routinely by the US until the Vietnam War. Armed with four 20mm guns installed on the sides of the large front air intake, it could carry a varied weapons load. This capability provided it with a high degree of operational flexibility on missions, utilising air-to-air missiles, rockets and bombs. Because it was armed with cannons, unlike the more modern and advanced early versions of the missile laden F-4 Phantom II, pilots nicknamed the Crusader “The last of the Gunfighters”. The aircraft was also used by the French Navy’s carrier-based fighter squadron. Detailed plastic kit in scale 1:24
