1:48 Northrop F-5E Tiger II
510002827€31.49
The Northrop F-5 was developed during the 1960s to meet the requirements of a number of NATO countries that needed a simple, cheap and easy to maintain multi-role fighter. Its airframe inspired the subsequent introduction of the F-5E Tiger II in the early 1970s. Equipped with two new J85-GE-21 jet engines capable of providing much higher power and thrust than the previous version, it was characterized by a longer and enlarged fuselage. The improved flight performance arising from the new aerodynamic lay-out, the greater operational range and the updated avionics, allowed the Tiger II to be used successfully by numerous air forces. The basic armaments were two 20 mm cannons installed in the nose under the cabin, supported by the capability to deploy a wide set of air-to-air missiles. In addition to its primary fighter role it still however retained extensive ground attack capabilities. Detailed plastic kit

Article number: 510001312 Product: 1:72 FW 190 D-9 The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the best aircraft produced during World War II. Manufactured in more than 20,000 units starting from 1941, it was, alongside the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the most renowned fighter aircraft of the Luftwaffe. In its early versions, such as the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8, the fighter was equipped with a BMW 801 D-2 double-row radial engine with 14 cylinders, delivering 1,700 horsepower, enabling it to reach a top speed of 653 km/h. Over time, designers capitalized on the successful aerodynamic structure of the aircraft, achieving what can be considered its ultimate evolution. The adoption of the powerful liquid-cooled Junkers Jumo 213 12-cylinder engine necessitated a revision of the aircraft's design, resulting in an elongated nose. The D version was aptly nicknamed by Luftwaffe pilots as "Langnasen-Dora" (Long-nose Dora), but once in flight, they immediately appreciated its characteristics and capabilities. The FW-190D was indeed capable of competing on equal terms with the most modern Allied fighters, such as the renowned P-51D Mustang. Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Article number: 510001292 Product: 1:72 JU-87 B2 STUKA Model Dim.: 15,4 cm Decals for 4 versions. The JU-87 Stuka was the standard ground attack plane and dive bomber of the German Air Force at the beginning of WWII. In spite of its mediocre characteristics it achieved considerable fame through the psychological impact it had on the population and on the enemy forces. Never before has such massive employment of aircraft been experienced. The success of the Stukas during the first phase of the war was due to total air supremacy guaranteed by the Luftwaffe fighters which permitted the Stukas to operate without being disturbed by enemy aircraft. During the battle of Britain the myth of the JU-87 was re-dimensioned due to the supremacy of British fighter aircraft. Nevertheless the Stukas operated until the end of the war from the African theater to Russia.

510001282€52.99
Article number: 510001282 Product: 1:72 XB-70 Valkyrie Model Dim.: 79 cm Decal for one version. In the Cold War era the dream of every strategist was to own a bomber with the load capacity and autonomy of the B-52 able to fly faster than the B-58 and so the B-70 programme came into being. After years on the drawing board, and cutthroat competition between Boeing and North American Aviation, the latter’s design won the heated competition in December 1957, with an order for the first 30 aircraft to be in service by 1965. In 1959, however, it became clear that the still untested B-70 would not survive the new aerial combat scene technology and the programme was cut back to a minimum. Two prototypes were finally constructed, the first of which took to the air in September 1964, and the XB-70 Valkyries showed themselves able to fly at speeds exceeding Mach 3. Today they are considered by many scholars and airplane buffs to be the most beautiful aircraft ever constructed.

The JU-87 dive bomber is certainly one of the best known aircraft of WW2. The characteristic "gull wing" aircraft gained great notoriety at the beginning of the war, and is considered, together with the Panzer Divisions of the Wehrmacht, as defining symbols of the Blitzkrieg. During the war, new versions with differing operational profiles were introduced. The Ju-87G was developed as an "anti-tank" version of the Stuka, to counter the vast array of enemy armored vehicles deployed on the eastern front post 1943.The Stuka "ace" Hans Ulrich Rudel proposed the addition of two 37 mm Flak 18 cannons housed in underwing pods to better counter this developing threat. With this configuration the Ju-87G "Kanonenvogel" proved extremely effective in the hands of experienced pilots. Even more refined was the G-2 version which was characterized by greater wing surfaces, in turn derived from the previous D-5 version. Detailed plastic kit
