Référence article: 510006392 Produit: 1:35 DUKW Amphibious vehicle C’est à partir du camion de transport tactique américain General Motor CCKW-353 de 2½ tonnes 6x6 qu’une version amphibie spéciale a été conçue et construite pour répondre aux besoins logistiques des équipes de débarquement de l'armée américaine afin de transférer les marchandises directement et rapidement des navires à la plage. Les composants de base étaient en effet les mêmes que ceux du camion routier GMC avec son moteur 6 cylindres de 4 400 cm3 et ses trois différentiels à six roues motrices. Le DUKW se caractérisait par sa coque soudée, pour la rendre amphibie, renforcée par des nervures horizontales. Sa force résidait dans son extraordinaire polyvalence et sa capacité de charge. En effet, il pouvait transporter 2 400 kg de charge utile soit 25 hommes entièrement équipés. Les DUKW ont été largement utilisés sur tous les théâtres de guerre par l'armée américaine, les Marines et les forces armées de nombreux pays alliés. Ils ont contribué efficacement aux débarquements de Salerne et d'Anzio, en Normandie lors du jour J, à Utah et à Omaha, ainsi que sur les plages du Pacifique.

Among the various boats in production, the Vosper MTB 72’6" were characterized by a significant life cycle with different mission profiles as the coastal patrol and the anti-submarine support in the North Sea and English Channel. Moves from 3 engines with and impressive power of 4,200 hp, Vosper MTB was able to reach a speed close to 40 knots (70 km/h). The first versions were introduced at the beginning of the war but were gradually introduced new variants, type I and type II, which were characterized by a different combination of offensive and defensive weaponry. They were usually armed with 457 mm torpedo tubes., depth charges, and 0.303" Vickers machine guns or, more rarely, from 0.5" Vickers machine guns , for air defence. The crew consisted of 10 to 13 men.

Le Douglas A-4 Skyhawk a été développé dans les années 1950 et a été l'un des avions d'attaque légers les plus célèbres et les plus populaires de l'histoire de l'aviation. The F-14A first flew on 21st December 1970, and production-line models started reaching squadrons in 1973. Squadrons VF-1 and VF-2 accompanied the last voyage of the aircraft carrier Enterprise in Vietnam, yet never saw combat. The Tomcat would not see action until 1981, when it shot down two Libyan Su-22s during an encounter over the Gulf of Sirte. The Italian Regia Aeronautica requested to the German ally, before the beginning of the war, a specific supply of one hundred "Stuka" to equip its ground attack and dive bombing Squadrons. Comparé aux biplans Fiat CR32 et CR42 qui équipaient en majorité les escadrons de chasse de la force aérienne italienne (Regia Aeronautica) au début de la 2ème G.M., le Macchi MC200 se distinguait, comme le Fiat G50 de l’époque, par sa configuration monoplan et sa structure entièrement métallique. Le moteur 14 cylindres en double étoile Fiat A.74 RC 38 développant 840cv lui permettait d’atteindre 500km/h. Comparé aux chasseurs alliés, il était sous-motorisé et sa puissance de feu insuffisante. Les deux mitrailleuses de capot Breda-SAFAT de 12,7mm constituaient le seul armement interne. Sur les dernières versions produites, deux mitrailleuses supplémentaires - des Breda-SAFAT de 7,7mm, étaient montées dans les ailes. Le MC200 fut utilisé par la Regia Aeronautica sur divers fronts de la 2ème G.M., en Afrique, en Méditerranée, dans les Balkans et en Russie.

Le Northrop F-5 est né dans les années 60 pour répondre aux besoins de nombreux pays membres de l'OTAN qui avaient besoin d'un avion de chasse polyvalent simple, peu coûteux et facile à entretenir. De sa cellule d'origine, le F-5E Tiger II est né au début des années 1970. Équipé d'une paire de nouveaux propulseurs J85-GE-21 en mesure de fournir une puissance et une poussée nettement supérieures à celles de la version précédente, il présentait un fuselage allongé et élargi. Les performances de vol améliorées grâce à la nouvelle disposition aérodynamique, la portée opérationnelle accrue et l'avionique améliorée ont permis au Tiger II d'être déployé avec succès par de nombreuses forces aériennes. L'armement de base est constitué de deux canons de 20 mm, installés dans le nez en dessous de la cabine et par la possibilité d'utiliser plusieurs combinaisons de missiles air-air. En plus de son rôle principal de chasseur, il a néanmoins conservé des capacités étendues d'attaque au sol.
