We have selected items 6511 M4 75mm and 6803 M4A1(76)W for a production. Both tanks have undergone upgrades, including the addition of Magic Track, 3D-printing headlight and horn guards, copper cable and aluminum gun barrel w/rifling inside. The 6083 M4A1 even showcases 3D-printing duckbill end connectors. These two upgraded Shermans are now fully prepared for any Normandy campaign dioramas envisioned by modelers. To help counter this, Germany produced a special set of armored plates that could be mounted atop the turret and over parts of the Panther’s engine deck. The field-mounted steel plates were double-spaced on the turret top to improve protection against aircraft strafing and shrapnel. Dragon’s new Premium Edition item 6913 features such a unique-looking Panther Ausf.G with the additional armor plates. Article number: 540006911 Product: 1:35 Sd.Kfz.250/3 "Greif" The best-known Sd.Kfz.250/3 of all was one used by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox, during operations in North Africa. He christened his particular vehicle "Greif", which translates as griffin. In actual fact, "Greif" featured an Sd.Kfz.250/Z Panzeraufbau armored superstructure that had unique characteristics such as a vision port in the rear door and a different overhanging shape at the rear. This latest Dragon kit now provides these exact components to build the Desert Fox’s halftrack mount. Furthermore, as it’s a 2-in-1 kit, modelers can choose to build a regular Sd.Kfz.250/3 command halftrack as well. The kit is based on Dragon’s most up-graded Sd.Kfz.250 Smart Kit version, but now modelers can build an Sd.Kfz.250/3 to the very latest contemporary standards, as well as "Greif" for desert operations.
