Article number: 510003665 Product: 1:24 Land Rover 109 LWB The "Land Rover" was certainly one of the best known symbols of "made in England" on 4 wheels and is in fact a milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was born immediately after the war, with the first prototypes made in 1947, to satisfy both civil and military tasks. Inspired, even if not directly, by the American Jeep, it was characterized by 4x4 all-wheel drive and a sturdy and reliable structure capable of tackling the most difficult and demanding routes. The aluminum body made it lighter but, at the same time, more resistant to corrosion and a long service life. In 1971, when the Series III was introduced, more than a million units had already been produced and built for both civil and military use, both in the 88-inch "standard wheelbase" version or in the 109 "long wheel base" version inches, the latter reproduced in the kit. The configuration of the M-24 was superior to its predecessor in so many ways that it can be considered one of the foremost light tanks that were ever produced. Agile, robust and reliable, it had as its main armament a 75mm M6 cannon with 48 rounds available, a very powerful version indeed of a "light tank". The tank’s armament was complete with its two 12.7 mm Browning machine guns. Following the conclusion of the Second World War, where it’s capabilities had been fully demonstrated, it participated in the Korean War providing support to M4 Sherman tanks and the heavier M26 Pershing. It was also effectively utilised in advanced reconnaissance roles or providing close infantry support. Detailed plastic kit in scale 1:24

In some European countries it was marketed as Puch G. By 2017, over 300,000 were built. The history of the G-Class has its roots in 1972, when the leaders of the German company made an agreement with the Austrian Steyr-Daimler-Puch for the production of a modern and elegant off-road vehicle, but also robust and efficient, in short, suitable for any use. The production of the G-Class basically consists of three generations, all of which share the same mechanical architecture and the same basic structure, of the separate-chassis type with all-wheel drive, gearbox with reduced gears and rigid axle suspension (only in the third generation and limited the independent wheel solution was introduced to the front end only). In the first versions put on the market the gearbox was of the manual 4-speed type, although later on the transmission variants would have diversified to a considerable extent. The first generation was also produced under the Peugeot brand under the name of Peugeot P4: the other two series were produced more or less in the same period.

Article number: 510003663 Product: 1:24 Mercedes-Benz G230 Feuerwehr Following its operational successes during WW1, the Italian "Regia Marina" continued with further post- war developments into various underwater and surface assault vehicles. The Motoscafo da Turismo Modificato (M.T.M.) for example, was designed to ensure a covert and rapid approach to targets with a low risk of detection from enemy forces. Closing in on the target, the pilot then adjusted the rudder to maintain direction and propelled the fast small boat on a collision course to the target. The pilot, positioned at the stern, jumped from the craft at a safe distance before the collision. The high explosive charge positioned in the bow of the Barchino detonated upon impact against the target. The most successful deployment of the ‘Barchino’ by the Italian Regio Marina, was the assault led by Luigi Faggioni on the Royal Navy heavy cruiser HMS York at Suda Bay, Crete in 1941. From its unique aerodynamic design, characterized by slender fuselage and very little wing surface, was developed the combat-capable two-seat advanced trainer version TF-104. Among the most widespread version, the TF-104G, produced by Lockheed was a fundamental training step for all the combat pilots before to seat in the F-104G or F-104S single-seat fighter version cockpits. Compared to the single-seat, the TF-104G didn’t have the 20 mm gun and the centerline pylon but, thanks to the General Electric J79 turbojet engine, the pilot and the Trainer could have the same flight experience and performance of the fighter version.
