1:24 Jeep Willys MB 80th Anniversary
510003635€37.99
Article number: 510003635 Product: 1:24 Willys Jeep MB "80th Anniversary" In 1940, after World War II had broken out, the US general staff ordered various factories to design a light multipurpose vehicle with all-wheel drive. The American Bantam Company, Willys Overland, and Ford Motor Co. competed with each other. Willys prototype was chosen, which, after an initial run of 1500 vehicles, went into mass production at the beginning of1941 and reached a total output of 640.000 units out of which 277.000 pieces were produced by Ford under a licensing agreement. This shows that the Jeep was the most widely produced light vehicle of the war industry during World War II. Even after 80 years, the "Willys" is still considered today, to be the four-wheeled vehicle which is most symbolic of the American army during the Second World War, and thanks to its enthusiasts and collectors, there are many examples of the jeep, still in perfect working order. 1:35 BMW R 75 with Side Car
510000315€11.99
Article number: 510000315 Product: 1:35 BMW R 75 with Side Car Model Dim.: 6,6 cm Contains 3 figures. Decal for one version. The new German army made use of the experiences collected in World War I to realize their modern reconstruction based on motorization. In spite of the limitations of the Treaty of Versailles able commanders introduced civilian vehicles into the army, thus creating a motorized mentality. In 1940 already, a battalion consisting of 3 to 4 companies each equipped with 52 motorcycles with sidecars and 4 motorcy-cles (single), was integrated into the motorized infantry and the armored divisions. Moreover, motorcycles were present in nearly all other Wehrmacht units, especially with the reconaissance units and the command, as well as the pioneer and the supply units. Produced in 16.500 units, the BMW R 75 together with the Zijndapp KS 750 formed the nucleus of the motorized units on all theatres of operations, especially in Africa and in Russia. The motorcycle was armored with an MG 34 mounted on the sidecar. On the road, it reached a maximum speed of 92 Km/h.

510000223€30.99
Article number: 510000223 Product: 1:35 GER. Sd.Kfz.167 Sturmgeschütz IV The Sturmgeschütz IV was developed on the chassis of the Panzer IV medium tank to provide the German army with an assault gun capable of effectively serving as a tank destroyer in the later stages of World War II. The Stug IV was equipped with a Stuk40 75mm L/48 high-velocity gun installed in a casemate, protected by armored mantlet, capable of penetrating the armor of major enemy armored vehicles. Distributed to units in the early months of 1944, it supplemented and often replaced the Stug III assault gun, which had experienced a sudden decrease in production in 1943 due to increasingly frequent Allied bomber raids on German industrial areas. Widely deployed on the Eastern Front, the Stug IV was also utilized by armored units and anti-tank detachments of the Wehrmacht in Normandy, where its low profile proved to be particularly difficult to identify in the hedgerows of the French countryside. 1:48 FIAT CR.42 Falco Assa./Nig. Fighter
510002842€30.99
Starting from the great success of the C.R. 32 "Freccia" biplane, which proved its reliability and operational efficiency during the Spanish Civil War, Fiat developed the new C.R. 42 "Falco" at the end of the 1930s. The new single-seat biplane fighter retained the fixed landing gear and open cockpit of its predecessor but introduced several innovations, such as an entirely aluminum and steel structure covered with metal and fabric. Its air-cooled radial engine, the Fiat A.74, allowed the C.R. 42 to reach a top speed of 400 km/h. The aircraft was characterized by exceptional maneuverability, highly appreciated by pilots, but suffered from the inherent limitations of the biplane configuration, which hindered its operational performance compared to more modern and powerful monoplane fighters. 540006147€31.99
Article number: 540006147 Product: 1:35 7.5cm Leichtgeschütz 40 w/Crew Operation Marita. This is the name Germany gave its plan to invade Greece in April 1941. In fact, Germany stepped in after Italy’s failed invasion kicked off the preceding October. Greece had repelled that initial invasion and had even counterattacked by March 1941. Consequently, on 6 April, 680,000 German troops with 1,200 tanks and 700 aircraft launched their invasion of Greece from Bulgarian territory, bypassing the bulk of Greek troops near the Albanian border. The Metaxas defensive line was overrun, and small numbers of Australian, British and New Zealand troops could not stem the flow. By the end of the month, the Greek mainland was in German hands, and then German troops also landed on and captured Crete in May 1941. Of interest, next year will mark the 80th anniversary of Operation Marita, so Dragon has brought together a number of 1/35 scale figure sets that feature participants in that decisive campaign. This Dragon assortment features no fewer than six 1/35 scale figure sets depicting the Greek invasion, a campaign that has not received the publicity or attention that it perhaps deserves. All the figure sets represent German troops, including paratroopers, mountain troops, combat engineers and elite infantrymen. These realistic-looking figure sets depict different units, various uniforms and a range of weapons, giving lots of flexibility for model-makers to create a diorama. Few eyewitnesses of that military campaign in Greece remain alive, but modelers can recreate it through this prized figure collection. Detailed Plastic Kit Warning! Article number: 510005609 Product: 1:35 Biber Midget Submarine The model U-Boot Biber in scale 1/35 has a length of about 186 mm. Decals for one version. The "Biber" was the most well-known "pocket" submarine used by the Kriegsmarine during the latter part of World War II. The development of the Biber was extremely rapid. Design began in February 1944, and the first units were launched just 6 months later. Measuring just 9 meters long, it had a range of 240 km. It could reach a maximum speed of 6.5 knots surfaced and 5.3 knots submerged. The Biber could be armed with two 530 mm torpedoes, mounted externally to the submarine, or with two mines. Its crew consisted of only one person. The purpose of the Biber within the strategy of the Kriegsmarine was quite simple: to provide a concrete defense along the coasts to protect against a possible, and increasingly likely, Allied invasion. From 1944 until the end of World War II, the Kriegsmarine received and deployed over 300 Bibers.

The mechanical reliability and maneuverability offered by the 38(t) chassis served as the technical foundation for mounting a 20 mm Flak 38 anti-aircraft gun on a rotating, shielded platform to protect the crew. The main weapon was often utilized not only against aircraft but also in engaging fixed positions and supporting ground troops in close combat situations. Over time, the Gepard was progressively supplemented in the anti-aircraft role by other self-propelled systems with greater firepower, such as the Wirbelwind and the Ostwind.
